Hi journal.
I had a super awesome fourth of July weekend..but I can't really say the same for this week ^ ^; I was bummed that it was going to be long and tough cause of Evelin being away, but I wasn't ready for what ended up happening.
Monday started alright, the trouble happened when a lady wanted to make an appointment for this Saturday. I went to pull up the appointment page, and it was just gone.
It wasn't anywhere in the month's folder, or outside in the documents area. I didn't know what to do but get her info and say that she could try walking in an any time that day and we'd try to fit her in. We checked the recycling bin in case it got deleted, but it wasn't in there either. We checked all the places in the computer we could think of. But we couldn't find it. >< A whole day's worth of patients, erased..
We don't know who they were..what their insurance was..if they were covered for the exam as of then. Nothing. And it also just so happens that it's the one day this week that my boss, Dr. C works. He's going to KILL us. This is the most preposterous thing that's ever happened, and he's gonna have to know about it and its going to automatically be our faults. >< I continued looking all day today, to check temporary files or weird files that might be the missing page. To check if it had somehow been altered or corrupted somehow. But nothing. ><
And then the day gets worse when I find out, I've lost my phone. I remember going to the restroom to change because the office was freezing. And I guess it fell out of my pocket or got left somewhere. It was maybe 20 minutes later that I realized I didn't have it. I went back to the restroom but I didn't find it there. Of course. uuugh. I can't be trusted to do anything right. >< Now someone has my phone, with all my contacts number's and even my aim if they wanted to snoop that much. And I had pictures on there. I went to the front desk area in the building to see if anyone had turned it in, but nothing. Jessica tried calling it. It rang twice and then went to voice mail. Same thing when she tried calling it a second time except it went there right away. Which only happens if someone hits the reject call button. Cause my phone usually at least rings four times before going to the mailbox.
So now my poor phone in the hands of some stranger, probably a kid for all I know.
My sister called up T Mobile and they suspended the service for now. So no one can make any weird calls to Venezuela or mess with my aim. They will leave it suspended for up to 30 days so that in the event it turns up I can get it reactivated. But I can't wait any longer than that or there's gonna be a fee. I'll give it maybe 3 or 4 days of checking to see if anyone's turned it in. And then if nothing, deactivate it and order a new phone. It just feels weird. That little thing has been something that I've used for my clock, aim away from my computer and my tool for voting on shows lol. As well as being a phone. So the thought of it's battery dying makes me sad. Not like it can last forever even if its charged.
I don't mean to be weird though lol. But this week still sucks >< I just want a break.
Now I'm definitely not looking forward to tomorrow. Gotta open which means getting up extra early to be there at 8 ( I will be walking, so I need to leave at 7) And I work with Ashley whom I never feel like I can trust to do everything as Dr C wants lol...but she's scheduled to close, so I might end up staying over hours to make sure she does everything right. But she haaaates me for doing stuff like that lol. She says I 'hover'. Well, if she messes up it's always on my head. Cause Dr.C will say "why didn't you check her work?" I don't love my job but i need to keep it for a good 2 years more at least cause I wanna start school next year. So I can leeeeave this line of work.
My brain hurts so no more typing. Oh, and no one has to read these so stop whining about these being long. I just wanted to fukin' write.
